Players aged approx. 5 - 7 - Tee + Coach-Pitch Division

Season will begin in mid-April with most games played at Scott Field (the lower field adjacent to Tocci Field). Games are played on weeknights and Sundays.

This division focuses on essential skills for building a solid foundation for the game of baseball, while having fun. It is intended for players ages 5 to 7 years old who are ready to hit a moving ball, while still having the tee as an option when needed. Little League rules are modified for the youngsters to promote skill development. Coaches are allowed in the field and support learning of an organized game through facilitated instructional gameplay. The season generally consists of about 1-2 games each week, with additional team practice time built into each session to practice on weekly focus skill areas.

Players aged approx. 6 - 8 - Coach-Pitch Division

Season will begin in mid-April with most games played at Ward Field, Trinity Field(s), Isaac E. Young Field, and Pinebrook Park. Games are played on weeknights and Sundays.

This division builds upon the more facilitated instructional gameplay of the Mites division, as it is the first baseball division that keeps score and records formal outs each inning. It is intended for players ages 6 to 8 years old who are ready to hit a moving ball, via coach pitch or pitching machine. Little League rules are modified to this unique developmental period, including number of pitches seen, run limits, and playing time requirements. Coaches continue to support on the field to facilitate learning of the game. The season generally consists of about two games each week, with additional team practice time built intermittently into the season. Play throughout the season culminates with a division tournament to end the season.

Players aged approx. 10 - 12 - Kid-Pitch Division

Season will begin in mid-April with most games played at Tocci Field, Pinebrook Park, and D’Onofrio Park. Games are played on weeknights and Sundays.

Play at this level generally consists of 10 to 12 year old players that have shown a mastery of the essential skills with the ability to perform many of the advanced skills in hitting, fielding, and/or pitching. The focus is on the continued development of hitting, pitching, base running and defensive techniques while expanding on situational awareness and game strategies. This division plays on a field that uses a 46’ foot pitching distance and 60’ foot base paths. Little League rules are followed including pitch counts and playing time requirements. Major League teams play an average of 12-14 games, weather permitting. Play throughout the season culminates with a division tournament to end the season. Players from this division are eligible to play in the Little League International tournament that begins in late-June.
